I've never managed to achieve that type of drawing that is super-real like a photograph. Part of me would like to get there - because I really get blown away by drawings that are so 'perfect' in their depiction of what I see. However I tend to get put off by the idea of trying as am suspicious it will take years to get the technique right. A kind of nervous laziness I suppose. But! maybe I should aim to try and draw a hyper real sketch once a month and perhaps over a year there will be a noticeable improvement?

I recently got a sketch book that has storyboard frames in it. I'm aiming to draw a regular drawing and upload them as I go. Hopefully I will come up with an idea for an animation.
Part of me prefers drawing on yellow sticky notes - I definitely feel more relaxed, there is something a bit 'precious' about this new drawing book so I find it hard to just draw.
